Iris this Saturday!

Photobucket

I cannot wait to see Iris play again! I saw them when they played the back room at the Cat Club. At the time they only had one album out. At the end of the show we wanted them to just play all the songs again. The show was that great! Now with three albums out I can't imagine how awesome this show is going to be!!

I'm only posting three tracks this time. My favorite song from off of each album.

You Can't Survive On Ice Cream

Last week the weather was perfect. I left the house in shorts and just wanted to fly a kite in the park or go on a road trip with friends. I searched through my ipod creating an on-the-go playlist that fit my mood that day. It is one of my best compilations I think. Enjoy!

Cities In Dust

Photobucket
Junkie XL-Cities In Dust

After years in the "goth" scene there comes a time when great songs become blah songs. Mainly due to being played to death. Siouxsie and the Banshee's Cities In Dust was one of these casualties. On Junkie XL's latest release he was able to breathe new life into the song. Sadly, it more than likely won't get played at Death Guild it's a little outside the box for some of the crowd. Perhaps the lovely DJ Starr might give it a go for the Bondage a Go Go crowd.

Here's a video someone made using the song Reload featuring Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode fame. The video makes T3 seem like a movie I'd actually enjoy, unlike the piece of scrap metal it was.

Man I love me some robots!
